Hello everyone and welcome to my second blog.

I first want to give you the sad news.   Sylvia, with whom I remember dancing the Jive at her 103rd Birthday party, passed away peacefully  in her sleep at the incredible age of 104.   Margaret I understand passed away after having had a stroke, and Lavinia passed away in hospital after being admitted for another fall, and I believe that she sadly contracted corona virus there.

We all had lovely monthly meetings at Lark Hill, but of course that unfortunately ended with lock-down.   I had been very lucky though by being invited out many times by Lily Bobtail and her family.   I particularly remember Alex and Emma taking me to Sudbury Hall where we met Lily’s Grandparents.   We were instantly recognised and approached in the cafe there, which is something we were to get used to.   I enclose Emma’s favourite photos of us which were taken there.

As I said in my first blog, I personally was very disappointed when ExtraCare did not follow up by creating a crèche here or near here.  Again lock-down interrupted my negotiations, but I have been informed that ExtraCare are, in fact, looking into doing something, so I am hoping to have exciting news about future developments once details have been sorted out and regulations permit.

My very best wishes to you all.
